Nikolaos Floratos trained Researchers from Cergy Pontoise University in Paris, in specific on how to exploit successfully European Research Collaborative Projects such as Horizon 2020. He urged the researchers to change their mindset and habits based on his B.U.N.D.L.E.R.® tool. He familiarised them with the five fingers technique for understanding the winning concept behind each Horizon 2020 call as well as on the full proposal development cycle. On the last day, he introduced them to the concept of the evaluator/EC expert and how they should win the first and lasting impressions based on the C.R.I.T.E.R.I.A.™ formula. Nikolaos as Training Coordinator of the Programme Turkey in Horizon 2020 phase II that is managed by TUBITAK co-delivered a workshop in Ankara on 15 March with more than 70 participants from SMEs and development agencies in Turkey in order to identify their trainings needs for the next three years in order to exploit successfully Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe. It was a full day with a lot of self- and group assessments from all the participants.
Nikolaos delivered a two days training on Horizon 2020 to researchers in FORTISS in Munich a recognized research institute for pioneering technologies in software, systems and service engineering. During those two days, he focused on his successful step-by-step formula on participants mastering the development of winning Horizon 2020 grant applications. Nikolaos has delivered in the context of ERP conference a practical and step-by-step training on how members for European Rehabilitation Platform can exploit EU funds effectively and effortlessly. His training was for half-day and focused on his FET (Funding Expert Transformation) practical step-by-step recipe. Nikolaos for a whole week trained more than 30 researchers, academics and research supporters on how exploit successfully all different Horizon 2020 sub-programmes such as MCSA- ERC, RIA/IA collaborative projects and how to get prepared for Horizon Europe the successor European Research and Innovation programme. A full week with many excitement that included also swimming with whales and amazing sunsets at Lagoon. The event Funding Expert Academy organised any eye-opening event on how to succeed in Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe at one of the most vibrant places in the world and that is Santorini island. Nikolaos provided his well-known step-by-step recipe on how to develop a winning Horizon 2020 grant application and how to get prepared effectively and successfully for Horizon Europe the upcoming biggest Research and Innovation funding programme in the whole world. The event was so successful that will be repeated 11-12 Oct 2019. Nikolaos has delivered at Middle East Technical University in Ankara a three days training to more than 60 researchers on how to develop successful Horizon 2020 grant applications. He focused on step-by-step practices that are necessary for having a winning H2020 proposal. He focused on steps necessary for leading a proposal but also for identifying and joining competent consortia as a partner. He guided them on what and how to write each subsection in detail within a grant application form, i.e. the Excellence section, the Impact section and the Implementation section. At the end, he formed groups and had proposal hackathon sessions. Nikolaos delivered for half-day a training to TUUBITAK National Contact Points in Ankara on the necessary recipe on how to exploit successfully Horizon 2020 and how to support others to do so. More than 30 national contacts points attended the event and got trainned on the step-by-step process for developing a winning Horizonn 2020 grant application Nikolaos delivered to more than 20 researchers from all over Europe that gathered at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona a step by step method on how to develop a winning Horizon 2020 grant application by examining sub-section per sub-section what and how to write as well as the steps necessary outside the grant application for developing a successful H2020 proposal.
